Having recently played in Manchester and Brighton Laurent Garnier's L.B.S tour heads towards Germany with gigs at Robert Johnson and Panorama Bar this weekend.

L.B.S - which he cites as standing for ‘Laurent + Ben + Stephane’, ‘Live Booth Sessions’ and ‘Loud Bass & Samples’ - is a DJ/live musician fusion that builds on his summer of festivals.

"After eighteen months on tour with my musicians, I began to realize that I could get as much pleasure from playing live in a festival as I could from DJing in clubs," says the man himself. "We developed a very open style of playing: interacting, improvising, and expressing ourselves freely, something that I thought I could only achieve through my DJ sets."
