Beatport has launched a new subscription plan that lets users access its full catalogue of over nine million tracks in their browser app BeatportDJ. The app, which also works on iOS, was launched earlier this year, and is essentially a full DJ software inside your browser. BeatportDJ also works with MIDI controllers, so you can hook up your favourite controller to any computer and start DJing without downloading any software. 

Previously, a Beatport LINK subscription was required to access BeatportDJ, but this new plan – which costs $9.99 a month – gives you access to the app, both in browser and on iOS, letting you DJ and create playlists with Beatport’s catalogue. If you want to use LINK in software and hardware outside the BeatportDJ app, to access the playlists you make in the browser, you'll need to upgrade to a LINK or LINK Pro subscription starting at $14.99 a month. 

BeatportDJ features all you might expect from DJ software including two decks, crossfader, three-band EQ for each channel, FX and X/Y pad for control, playlists, a HP and LP filter per channel and more.
