Ten Walls to release debut album, ‘Queen’

It lands in March, two years after his homophobic comments…

Ten Walls has revealed that he is releasing his debut album, ‘Queen’, on 15th March.

The album lands two years after Ten Walls - aka Lithuanian DJ/producer Marijus Adomaitis - shared controversial homophobic opinions via his personal Facebook account that were widely slammed by the dance music scene.

Speaking about Adomaitis’ online comments at the time, previous DJ Mag editor Ben Murphy said, “I was appalled to read his repugnant comments over the weekend.

“It's ridiculous that someone who makes a kind of music that is directly derived from gay culture could make such statements.”

The explosive remarks, which were deleted, labeled homosexuals as “another breed” and compared homosexuality to child abuse.

Speaking about his forthcoming album, Adomaitis said, “‘Queen’ is an album full of contrasts. It is a story that covers various moments of my life as well as musical experiences.

“You can hear my favourite childhood fairytale, sounds of Vilnius recorded through my window, or some flashbacks from the spiritual lessons that brace me still. And it is music that leads you through the entire way."

Circoloco controversially booked Ten Walls for its DC-10 party last July, before the subsequent backlash saw the brand cancel the booking.

‘Queen’ by Ten Walls lands on 15th March.
