Wilted Woman
Berlin’s Wilted Woman has released an incredible 10 albums since 2014, almost all landing on obscure cassette-only labels like Wicked City, Primitive Languages and birdFriend. Though it was arguably her lauded ‘Diary Of A Woman’ EP that first launched her into the spotlight.
Kris Baha
GiGi FM
Dancing and electronic music are inseparable. For South London-based producer and DJ, GiGi FM, dance and music are “the same, the senses are linked — it’s all linked”. Having studied dance in New York, her time in the world of professional dance was temporary before a move to London, where she found herself “selling fragrances to rich people”.
Amazondotcom
iX
Brooklyn-based producer iX (pronounced ‘icks’) transports listeners to another dimension with his psychedelic down-tempo soundscapes, which feature traditional folk influences alongside trip-hop elements. The anomalous song structure of his original productions, as heard on his 2018 EP ‘About Thyme’, demonstrates his unique approach to experimental bass music.
Generik
Dscovered by Calvin Harris and supported by the big dogs Diplo and Skrillex, Tyson O’Brien is the very opposite of what his moniker suggests. The Australian producer and DJ known as Generik is no stranger to the Las Vegas scene, where he currently holds residencies at several Hakkasan nightclubs.

Beyun
American DJ, producer and label boss Biyeun Buczyk is obsessed with acid. The squidgy funk of the Roland TB-303 bass synth appears in most of her sets and productions, and little wonder, as she’s the A&R and manager for DJ Pierre’s Afro Acid, Jack Trax and Afro Deep imprints.

Molly Fi
Dubbed “Calgary’s First Lady Of Breaks,” Molly Fi — aka Krista Thibodeau — founded the influential Girls On Decks DJ Collective in Alberta, Canada in 2003 to give herself and numerous female/non-binary DJs, FeMCs, rappers, B-girls, vocalists and even burlesque dancers their start in the competitive male-dominated music scene.

CEM
Viennese DJ Cem Dukkha is a resident of Berlin’s Herrensauna, an event that is among the city’s most crucial gay club-nights. As the booker and one of its three main DJs, he’s helped to sculpt Herrensauna’s techno-centric sound, and his own sets are deep dives into everything from spacious, dubby four- four to thunderous kicks, abstract breakbeats and electro.

With a father like Harri James — one half of legendary Sub Club DJ duo Harri & Domenic — and a flatmate like Jackmaster, it’s little surprise that Jasper James has risen through the ranks of dance music in the blink of an eyelid.
