A special mix by CK303 has dropped alongside a new short film documenting the Chicago roots of Daft Punk to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album, ‘Homework’. You can watch it below.
The mix features tracks from some of Daft Punk’s main influences including DJ Deeon, DJ Slugo and Paul Johnson. The accompanying film, TEACHERS, directed by Dave Tynan and cut by Michael Donnelly to CK303’s new mix, is constructed from archive material which showcases extraordinary mid-90s footage of the legendary Chicago dance crew House-o-Matics.

Daft Punk release special blue vinyl edition of 'Tron Legacy' soundtrack
The success of a new blue vinyl edition of Daft Punk's 2010 'Tron Legacy' soundtrack has seen the album appear at the summit of Billboard's latest Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
The album was recently reissued in special blue and clear vinyl editions as Target exclusives, and sales data shows that 94% of the 10,000 units sold of the album between 10th and 16th December were physical copies. This is particularly significant amid the usual dominance of digital sales and streaming figures in today's charts.
