A new specialist dubstep record store, 140 Plates, has launched online. 

Established by Pieter Grauwels, the face behind the highly respected DUPLOC label and the Dubstep Awards, the digital download shop will specialise in UK-influenced dubstep sounds and electronic music in the 140BPM range. 

A Kickstarter campaign has been launched for a new photobook, 'Drumz of the South: The Dubstep Years (2004-2007)'. 

It's the work of artist and photographer Georgina Cook, whose blog — Drumz of the South — has been chronicling the sounds of the UK capital, and particularly those south of the River Thames, since 2004. 

Mala is set to reissue his back catalogue digitally for the first time. 

The dubstep pioneer will re-release his full solo and collaborative catalogue over the coming months, starting with a digital remaster of his landmark 2006 cut, ‘Anti War Dub’, which you can hear below.

Skrillex has confirmed he will release new music "soon".

After sharing Ableton production 'Kliptown Empyrean' via Soundcloud last year, California-born DJ and producer Skrillex has revealed more new tracks are on the way.

Last week, Justin Bieber released his sixth studio album 'Justice', with Skrillex revealing himself as a producer on a number of the album's tracks including '2 Much', 'Somebody', and 'Loved By You' featuring Burna Boy.

Silkie has dropped a new album.

Serving as his first release since 2018, and his third LP on the label, London's Silkie has dropped a new album via Mala's Deep Medi Musik imprint, titled 'Panorama'.

Comprised of nine tracks, the album is a result of two years worth of work, and includes the previously released single 'Big 45'.
