Berlin club Kater Blau confirms that a party-goer who visited the club on the 7th March has tested positive for coronavirus, or COVID-19.
After the banning of mass gatherings and events across many parts of Europe and the U.S., Kater Blau issued a statement this weekend (14th March), regarding contact from a guest who had tested positive for COVID-19.

Berghain’s Ostgut Ton imprint is celebrating its fifteenth birthday with Luke Slater's 'Fünfzehn' mix.
The release, slated to land on 3rd April, was created by the decade-spanning techno hero after revisiting the label's back catalogue. New compositions were then created from batches of ten releases, resulting in a 130-minute meld representing the sound of curator and the 15-year-old institution. Following the album, two 12"s will drop, containing a total of seven exclusive tracks, which will be available to stream and download.
Berlin clubs seek recognition as cultural institutions in parliament presentation
Clubs in Berlin are fighting to gain the same cultural recognition as opera houses, concert halls and theatres.
They are classified currently as "entertainment venues" alongside brothels and casinos, but seek the legal status that would protect them from gentrification in the German capital.

Nothing’s off limits. Her illustrations similarly comprise scribbled meditations on the people and moods that surround her on the street and the TV; a multimedia diary of Anu’s rich day-to-day.
Premiere: Fufi.SNC ‘Eagle Breaks’
Berlin’s popular, and devoutly phone-free, party Savour The Moment has kicked off 2020 with the launch of a label.
First up on Savour The Moment is Fufi.SNC with the ‘Homebase’ EP, one third of Munich crew SNC Recs. The EP comprises four cuts of breezy, atmospheric house, proto-trance, and crisp breakbeats, in perfect keeping with Savour The Moment’s euphoric vibe at Wilde Renate.

Berlin club Griessmuehle is at risk of closure
Griessmuehle, one of Berlin's best-loved clubs has shared a cryptic post suggesting that it could soon be forced to close.
In an Instagram post, the club launched a new campaign dubbed Save Our Spaces just ahead of New Year's Eve.
Information on the potential closure is currently scarce with the team simply writing: "Friends, we must act now. It might be our last New Year's Eve." The post requests that patrons and supporters help the club by spreading the word about the campaign.
Berghain shares full line-up for massive New Year party
Berghain has confirmed the full line-up for its annual marathon Silvester New Year's event.
Kicking off at 1am on Wednesday, January 1st, the party will continue until sometimes on Friday, November 3rd with a number of DJs and live acts playing across four floors at the club in that time.
The main Berghain floor will host Marcel Dettmann, Dr. Rubinstein, Volvox, Barker, Luke Slater, and Kobosil, amongst others, over the course of the party.
Get To Know: Lokier
Born and raised in Mexico City and currently based in Berlin, Yoan Lokier might initially seem a bit intimidating. Her music is dark and ominous, combining elements of industrial, goth and post-punk with techno and electro, and she’s got a visual aesthetic to match, one that draws heavily from her long-running love of horror films. She’s also got a thing for spiders — not actual spiders, just images of them — and will often post photos or videos of herself with some sort of spooky arachnid filter.
