Gorillaz have shared a statement on systematic racism.
The Damon Albarn-fronted project, comprised of members 2-D, Murdoc, Noodle, and Russel, shared the statement addressing systematic racism via Instagram, in response to the death of George Floyd.
"Gorillaz are enraged at the death of George Floyd and many before him at the hands of systemic racism and police brutality," the statement read. "It's time to be the change and play an active part in the fight for justice and equality."

Gorillaz will release a hardback annual in October, featuring over 120 pages of comic strips, exclusive artwork, puzzles and games.
The Gorillaz ALMANAC will mark the animated band’s 20th anniversary and is described as “full colour, one-of-a-kind, fun-packed, 120+ page, sideways homage to two glorious decades of Gorillaz”.

Albarn, broadcasting from his attic studio, and 2-D gave a rendition of recent Gorillaz single, ‘Aries’, which was released last month as part of their Song Machine project and which features New Order’s Peter Hook and Georgia.

Gorillaz have shared a new track, ‘How Far?’, featuring Skepta and the late, great Afrobeat pioneer Tony Allen.
The track has been shared in tribute to Allen, the iconic drummer widely regarded as co-founder of Afrobeat alongside Fela Kuti. Allen, who died following a heart attack on 30th April, was a frequent collaborator with Gorillaz’s Damon Albarn on projects The Good, The Bad & The Queen and Rocket Juice & The Moon.

Gorillaz have shared the third track from their 'Song Machine' project, titled 'Aries'. You can watch the video for it below.
The new track is a collaboration between Gorillaz, Peter Hook of New Order on bass, and alt-pop singer/producer Georgia on drums.
Speaking about 'Aries', Gorillaz guitarist Noodle said, “Highly impatient and competitive, many Aries have the fighting spirit of your mythological ruler.”
